What Happens Afterwards
We know that when it comes to deciding what to do with your beloved pet afterwards, the choice is hard. There are so man different options, but we are here to advise and help with that most difficult decision. The most important thing to remember is that there is never a wrong decision.
Cremation- We use a local pet crematorium which offers both individual and communal cremations.
Individual cremations- This is where your pet is cremated on their own and their individual ashes are returned to you within a urn of your choice. There are many different urns to choose from. We will go through all of these with you at the appointment or you can start to look at them here so you have an idea before we come.
Communal cremation- This is where your pet is cremated, along with others, and their ashes are scattered in the garden of rest at the crematorium grounds. Although you do not received their ashes back you can visit the garden of rest at the crematorium at any point, if you wish to still feel close to them.
Compassionate Paws Promise- Included for NO extra cost, with every individual cremation we provide a keepsake package which will include:
At least 2x ink paw prints
2x fur clippings- each in a different vessel
1x clay/foam paw print
2x remembrance keepsakes
Extra items can be added for the cost of £10 each.
If you have chosen communal cremation but still wish to receive any of these keepsake items then we can post these out to you for the cost of £10 each + postage.
Burial- This is also an option and can be done by yourself or we can arrange for this to happen in a local pet crematorium grounds.
Transport- If your pet passes away at home and you do not want to wait for the crematorium to come and collect them, we can come and collect them right away for a small transport fee.

Depending on your location we will deliver their ashes to you as soon as they are back with us (normally withing two weeks). Or we can arrange a collection at a place and time that suits your family best.
